Last night, our church had its annual OCC Children’s packing party. My grandson gets into this, as does all the children. They take care and intentionality into each item that is placed in every box they pack. The youth work with the smaller kids to make sure they include essential items. The mission of OCC is clear to the kids. They want the children to have a great Christmas, and want them to feel loved. Most importantly, they want each child to know who Jesus is and that He died for them.
Psalm 127:3: "Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him". My grandson and I prayed for our children who will receive their box. We all pray that they will accept Jesus. We pray for their safety and their future. I am so thankful to be involved in a church who teaches their youth and children to love every child everywhere.
