God’s Paintbrush…

God used His hand as a paintbrush and created a masterpiece in every shade and every color. This time of year reveals His beauty in broad strokes. I drive down the road and can’t help but see God in every photo. The trees are vibrant in orange, crimson, yellows, greens, reds, and browns. Each shape, color, tree, shrub, and bush are a reminder that He is present in all things. His majesty truly is a symphony in every sense. I see glory of God around me. He is worthy to be praised.
There are at least 15 different colors mentioned in the Bible. One of my favorite scriptures with this in mind is Isaiah 1:18, “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.” I believe, the vivid imagery of sins as scarlet becoming white as snow paints a picture of Jesus’s blood shed and His cleansing and purifying me.
Today, I needed to pause and praise. Revelations 4:11, ““You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”
