In His Time...

We don't think about our time on Earth until an event occurs with ourselves or someone close to us that brings the realization of life and death to the forefront. We all know the certainty, but we don't spend time thinking on those things until we must. That is human nature. Day turns into day and life moves quickly.

Psalm 90:12 says, "So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom." Teach us the wisdom of understanding the importance of life and our purpose. God's grace and His plan for us. Understanding the time and people. I think about the time God has given me and the opportunities to do His will. We all face this inevitable death. This is one area of our life we can't control and only God knows. There is a sadness of letting go of those we love and of the people who love us. But there is an understanding of the joyous reunion that will come. In His time.
