This boy never gets full. He eats, and then not 10 minutes later it’s “Moppy, I’m hungry.”. I try to make sure I have yogurt, apples, cheese sticks, and other good snacks. Sometimes though, he gets sweets.
A friend mentioned Wednesday night that she needed to be fed. As Christians, we get hungry. Our soul needs nourishment. We need food that sustains and nurtures our spirit. We need the nourishment that can only be obtained through His word. Matthew 4:4, “But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”.
I look forward to the sermons, Bible Studies, and Sunday School lessons. I always learn and feel blessed by the messages. I love the yearly eWomen time with my sisters in Christ. I find that my soul needs fed, and I have a desire to dedicate time to that essential piece of communion with God, reading and studying His word. When I fail to do this, my intimate relationship with Him suffers. Nightly Bible study is an important part of my life in Christ. I am blessed to finally be at a place in my life that I fully understand the importance of being in His presence during prayer and worship.
