Winter Blubber…11-2-25

While at the grocery store, our grandson asked my husband and I if we were trying to put on our “winter blubber” as we were buying groceries. Even the young checkout lady grinned at this. You see, perspectives are everything.
I love the perspective of a child. They understand the simplicity of each situation. Wouldn’t it be great if all people understood how simple salvation was? If the faith and acceptance of a child could be extended to adults? Adults over-analyze, question, think too much, and interrogate every aspect of Christianity. To be honest, from a young age, they are taught to do this in school. But society doesn’t teach them the Bible has those truths. Too many parents teach their children to inquire, but not God’s word.
Psalm 119:60, “The entirety of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.” Jesus is the word. His love endures forever. Children’s Church, Vacation Bible School, and Sunday School teaches these truths to children.
My husband and I will get up from our spots of comfort with our coffee, dress, and take our grandson to church. 2 Samuel 7:28, ““And now, O Lord GOD, You are God, and Your words are true, and You have promised this goodness to Your servant.”.
