Cleaned By Jesus…11-25-25

My grandson and I have been spending some time with our youngest son. Today, we went to Action Jacks for laser tag, Gel Blaster, and Arcade fun. The husband is dog sitting at home, so he didn’t come. We were discussing what to eat for dinner. My grandson likes buffets, but my son mentioned the buffet near here needed sterilized. My grandson promptly asked what that meant to which I said quickly, “It just needs cleaned.” He then said, “Cleaned by Jesus?”

We all laughed, but there is so much truth in that comment. This world needs cleaned by Jesus. Psalm 51:7 says, "Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow".  Can you imagine if the world reached out with this plea? A kindness that we have never known would fill each crack and crevice. A spiritual cleansing that spread throughout our land and encompassed the whole world. Everyone accepting God. Everyone going to Heaven. Not one soul lost!

Our Sunday School class has spent time reading in Ezekiel. Through Ezekiel, God prophesied to His people of Israel about renewal. Ezekiel 36:25-27, “ I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.“

God wants all His people to turn from their idols, their worldly desires. He wants us to turn to Him, seek forgiveness, and be cleansed. 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness".

Don’t we all need cleaned by Jesus?
