Hallelujah Moments…

I know life is full of moments of blessings. I see them each day in the face of this sweet child. I see them in the faces of my students, my family, the people who walk past, and in the hearts of those who serve. I see the goodness of God in every aspect of my world. I also see suffering, pain, heartache, and our inevitable potholes. I choose to see what He gives. I choose to see the potholes as a step closer to fulfilling my purpose and His plan.
There is a new Lauren Daigle song that has touched my soul. These are lyrics from part of the song:
“Take my life and let it be
My soul devoted Lord to Thee
Take my moments and all my days
Make them endless praise
Take my heart and let it move
In spirit and in truth”
With every breath that's in me
With every song and melody
Let it be a hallelujah
In every breaking moment
In every blessing that You give
Let it be a hallelujah.”
This is my continual prayer. A prayer that, in every moment of every day, I am singing Hallelujah to my Lord and Savior. I am thankful for the blessings, and I am trusting in the hard times. I Thessalonians 5:16-18, Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
As I sit, with anticipation for all the blessings God has in His plan for me, always let me be with eyes open wide to see, hear, and touch every moment. It is my prayer to savor each second, and not miss even one blessing that He has given.
