Inner Peace…

I met this lady about a month ago. I think a lot about her. Her inner peace exudes every pour and seeps out like the plant overwatered. I know she has been watered with God’s love and grace. I had the honor of listening to her speak twice and talking with her one-on-one. Her peace is evident in her posture, her voice, and her eyes.
John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”
As I get older, I understand why people step back and re-assess. I get the left hand, right hand analogy. I am constantly seeking to shift my perspective to seek His peace. I am comforted by His word. I am so thankful for a God whose gift is peace. I am so blessed by the gift of discernment. He is my peace.
