A jellyfish is mostly transparent. You can see a few internal threads of nerve nets. It has one opening for food and to expel waste. It is 95% water. A jellyfish has no heart, brain, or bones. What you see is basically all there is. Though transparent and simple, it has quite a punch when it’s stinging tentacles touch your skin.
Hebrews 4:13, "And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of him to whom we must give account". Our pastor preached about an all knowing God and that our God knows everything. He sees everything. I believe that we are all transparent to God. We are all exposed as is this jellyfish. All that we do, think, feel, and want are exposed and laid bare. God knows it all. I frequently tell my grandson that he should tell the truth, God already knows. As an adult, I understand that as well.
Luke 12:2-3, “For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have said in the dark shall be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in private rooms shall be proclaimed on the housetops" It is humbling to know that absolutely everything is and has been known. Every action is known and every thought is open to God. I come to Him in pray, but He already knows my thoughts, prayers, desires, and hurts. I have One who truly knows me.
