Heartaches...12-3-25

I was listening to a speaker this morning discuss trials, tragedies, and heartaches. He talked about the difference in the way people handle these times in our life. People of faith cry out to God and do have questions. The difference is in the understanding of God's faithfulness. Understanding how much God loves us does not minimalize the hurt, sorrow, and every emotion that comes with these times. What God's love does is provide comfort that can't be provided by human hands.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. -Romans 8:28

I know many who are hurting right now. Several people have passed leaving loved ones wondering about purpose. I know God's strength will hold them. I know He has a purpose. Thank you, Lord, for your love, care, and protection. Thank you for your strength and peace. Thank you for understanding our human responses and bringing us to your throne in prayer. Thank you for reaching down to us as we cry out to You.
