I never attended church camp as a child. As an adult, I have attended many times in many locations with different age groups. I am always amazed at the number of young people who listen, really listen to the speakers, teachers, and worship service. The Lord always works in ways that are unexpected. As a sponsor, I am grateful for the opportunity to share in this experience. I am humbled by the Spirit’s presence and strength in this space. I look forward to this. Oh, it will be hot. The mattress is not my bed, the days are long for an old lady, but the rewards are worth every second. I will love every minute.
My grandson and his friends will get the experience to worship, play, fellowship, and learn alongside others. I look forward to observing this and sharing in his joy. He loves people and he loves God.
Psalm 95:6, “Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!”
