My Husband...

My husband and I have been together for four decades. He is the most amazing and frustrating man I have ever met. He is my rock and does things to make me laugh. Yesterday, when I walked out he looked at me and said, “Is it toe-sack day at school?” WOW! There was that open my mouth, can’t believe you said that moment. Then, we both laughed.
Now, before you start getting all excited about this, and say he is being mean, he is not! He and I have such a strong relationship that I definitely know what is meant to make me laugh. He knew that would, and he knew I needed the laughter. He does worry about what all my hundreds (lol) of readers think of him when I blog about these things.
You see, life is full of so many roadblocks and obstacles that humor is a gift from God. I often think He looks down and laughs with us. Job 8:21, “He will yet fill your mouth with laughter, and your lips with shouting.” We can go through struggles and be joyful. We can face challenges and remember He is our joy and peace.
For my husband does love me so, even in toe-sacks. He knows me. Proverbs 31:25, “Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.”
