Precious Time…7-26-25
Precious Time…7-26-25

I hear mothers comment on the time passing too quickly. I see their perspective. For most mothers, each stage and time of their children’s life is precious, unique, and filled with memories.

I have never wanted time to slow down. I treasure each moment and day, looking forward to the future with anticipation. I hold each memory in a special place.

2 Corinthians 6:18, “And I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.”.

You see, we are children of God. He is watching us grow, building a relationship with us, and anticipating our future. As our Father, He only desires what is best for us. He doesn’t have the human desire for longing of time to slow down. The minutes, hours, and days are in His hands. He knows what our future holds.

It is humbling to know that I now have a parent who loves me that much. For most of you, your parents felt that way. To me, I didn’t experience that until I was saved and grew in the knowledge of God’s love and word, As a parent, I understand the meaning of time with my boys. It is immeasurable how much more God loves and cares for me.

As I sit, with the mist falling, I know we all have precious time. Precious time that God has given each of us in limited amounts. He asks that we love each other, spread His gospel, and grow in knowledge and truth.

I now watch my grandson grow. I treasure this precious time. I don’t want time to slow down because I understand the importance of each moment. I am forever thankful and blessed. Proverbs 17:6, “Grandchildren are the crown of the aged, and the glory of children is their fathers.”
