The Dream…

There is nothing like the sweet face of a child in sleep. Their faces change as they dream. They are oblivious to the struggles of the world around them. This sweet child has the sleep given by God to rest in Him.
Those of you who know my testimony, why I named this blog what I did, and what my struggles are and were know that I have dreams. Last night, the dream came again. When I wake, I now cry to God. I thank Him. I pray for peace. I ask Him to intervene in the situation that has brought the dream. I thank Him for the dream. It is that dream that reminds me that I need to seek His guidance. It is that dream that sends me running back to Him with my whole being. Yes, it is the understanding of the reasons for that dream that I am grateful for my Savior.
I love the scripture in 1 Samuel 3. The Lord calls Samuel. It takes Eli to recognize and understand that the Lord is calling. Yes, it takes 3 times for the Lord to call before Samuel understands through Eli’s guidance. 1 Samuel 3:8-10, “8 A third time the Lord called, “Samuel!” And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.”
Then Eli realized that the Lord was calling the boy. 9 So Eli told Samuel, “Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place. 10 The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!”” Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”
I have learned that the dream is the Lord waking me up. I have learned that when I have the dream, God is calling. He needs me to simply say, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”

I enjoy your blogs so much. When is the book coming hint hint. Love ❤️
