The First To Go...

The First to Go...5-20-25

So I missed a blog. I'm going back to write this day because I have so much to write about and an intense conviction that I am not to stop writing. I know some day they will be read and God wants our struggles to praise Him. He wants others to see His glory.

My husband and I have a strong relationship. We also have a weird sense of humor. I told him this morning that I worry about my brain and his eyes go to the bushes. Of course, he let's me know that he couldn't help that and it was a reflex. Bless him and bless my bushes. You see, as I have written before, my family says at the first sign of drool I will be off, and my husband has a list. That is what He tells the boys, but we all know he would take care of me until He couldn't. However, what about my bushes, trees, and flowers? Will they be only a faint memory and pictures he will have to figure out how to print? I laugh as I type this because I do all that.

"Philippians 2:4: "Each of you look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others." You see, he will care for me and he will care for my bushes because he loves me. Just like God cares about what we care about. God wants to give us the desires of our heart as those who love us also care about those desires sometimes putting aside our own desires. That is why I smile when my husband talks about my bushes. He does understand my desires.
