The Morning After...5-21-25

I love to go outside after a rain and just breathe in the freshness. It is almost as if everything awakens and all is new. The grass and the tree leaves are greener. The flowers are brighter and the birds sing. I can see the message of hope. In the early morning after a stormy night as the sun peeks through the trees, there is hope. Hope of a brighter day. Hope of a cloudless sky. The storms have passed.


Lamentations 3:22-24, "Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. "“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him”"."


Sometimes our life has storms. These can build over a period of time or pop up quickly. The storms can last for quite some time, but other storms are brief and can be quite destructive. I call them seasons. I'm in a rainy season and I'm praying through it. I'm looking toward to morning after. I'm looking forward to the new, the bright, the beautiful flowers and green grass. God has a way of reminding us that He is faithful.
