Right...
Right...

Sometimes we know the right thing to do. Throughout life, there are many decisions Christians make. Each decision will reflect our character. What we do, how we act, and what we say are all pictures of Christ's love that we portray to the world. Sometimes we know the right decisions to make. At other times, we hope we know them. But, then there are times that we just aren't sure what we should do. I struggle with being sure if I am in God's will. But yesterday and today, I knew. I knew what I should do. I knew how to do what was asked. I just needed to go do it.

In the not knowing, I have learned to seek God. I seek his guidance and I wait. Sometimes I don't wait patiently. Sometimes I pray and then I rush headlong into what I think God wants me to do. This is definitely not the right way God wants us to seek His guidance. I should seek His face and ask for His wisdom, and then wait for His answers. This time, I knew the right answer. This time I did know where He was leading me and what I needed to do. When we make decisions with God's guidance, we are assured that His hand is in the outcome. Proverbs 16:3, "Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established."

You see, our decisions whether big or small have consequences. When we feel the Lord leading us in any direction, we follow. If we don't follow, there will be consequences. If we do follow, there are blessings. I feel God's blessings pouring down like the upcoming rain/snow. I am forever grateful, thankful, and blessed by God's mercies, goodness, and love.
