The Sun…7-12-25
The Sun…7-12-25

There is this open patio facing Northeast. It is on the second tallest peak in the county where we are located at the moment. I could sit here and watch the sun rise for hours. Today, the sun is peaking behind the clouds with an occasional burst of appearance only to retreat into the background. I closed my eyes and turned my face to the area where I could only see a few glimpses of sunlight. Suddenly, the sun brightly appeared with all its intensity and glory.

You see, as my eyes were closed and the warmth hit my face, my first thought was what will it be like when our Lord makes His appearance. Is this a glimpse, a snippet, a sneak peak of the grandeur of that moment. I can only imagine the elegance, intensity, light and power we will experience. I can only imagine the joy we will feel. Matthew 24:27, “For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.”

My brain can’t fathom the brilliant second coming. I can only imagine, think, and anticipate. I don’t know, none of us will know, when this will take place. Matthew 24:36, “

“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” I don’t even know if I will be alive or dead, I just know that as I look to the Sun, I wait and pray that those I love will also be ready and waiting for His second coming. I want my family and friends with me in Heaven.

Revelations 1:7, ““Look, he is coming with the clouds, and “every eye will see him, even those who pierced him”; and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.” So shall it be! Amen.”
