Watering Can....

This watering can is at least ten years old. It lays under my swing on the front porch. It has provided thirst for at least a hundred plants over the time it has been in my position. Always willingly pouring it's contents on the spot in which I direct it. Never clogging, only a few leaks from near the top, and some light signs of cracking, but never breaking. The vessel pouring out life giving nourishment to anything freely.
You see, I am the can. I am His vessel. My God is the life-saving water. He fills me. He makes me strong. He mends my scars and cracks. He sees the leaks (tears), and allows them to flow freely. He is always ready to fill my cup. I go to Him in worship, in prayer, and in the stillness. His word nourishes my soul. I am thirsty Lord, fill my cup to overflowing.
John 7:37-38, "On the last and greatest day of the festival,Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”
