Hats…6-28-25

I wear many hats. We all do. I’m a mom, wife, Moppy, sister, aunt, cousin, educator, leader, team member, doctor, tractor driver, hay raker, painter, photographer, yard mower, canner, softball and sport lover, outdoor enthusiast, hiker, friend, and survivor. These are only a few hats that I put on and take off with ease. Some hats , I wear with confidence. Some hats, I am comfortable with, but others not so much. Some hats, I’m even pretty good at wearing, but others I struggle to wear, but love the way the hat fits. I’m not taking it off. I love all styles, colors, shapes, and sizes of my hats. I love the giver of each, and I love what each represents.

You see, there is one hat I haven’t mentioned. If you have read my blogs, you know by now where I’m going with this. The hat that is most treasured is Daughter of the Most High King, Christian, and saved by His blood.. 2 Corinthians 6:18, “I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” When I accepted Christ as my Savior, I put on that hat. I won’t ever take it off. I wear this hat over all others every second of every day. It fits perfectly on top of each hat I wear. It reminds me that He guides me, and covers me with His grace and mercy. I don’t deserve this hat. I’m not worthy, but praises to the One who gave it to me. This hat tells me I’m forever changed. I have a home. I am a part of a family. Yes, I have found my hat.
