I Live Under A Rock...

My husband asked me today if I live under a rock. We were talking about something, and I had never heard of that. So, yes - yes, sometimes I do. I am very cognizant of everything that goes on around me, but my life is very centered on issues at hand. I see the bigger picture, but I don't watch the news as much anymore. I keep up with events, but can't immerse myself in those as before. It is consuming.
You see, I do live under a rock. Christ is my rock., Deuteronomy 32:4, "He is the Rock, His works are perfect, and all His ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is He.". I am secured and strengthened by Christ. He protects me from myself and the ways that I am praying He changes me. He knows my thoughts, my fears, my worries, my insecurities, and my heart.
Psalm 18:2, "The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.".
My home is built on the rock. It has a firm fountain. Matthew 7:24-27. I can proudly say with a smile that I live under the Rock. Want to join me?
