I See Him...6-17-25

If I could write a song, I know what I would write about. In fact, it really has been written and one that contains all the ways and places that God is present. I was thinking today, on our trip to get my husband's new glasses, that I can see Him everywhere. Some would call me a "Jesus Freak" or "too religious", but I have a fire. I find myself thinking about how I should live, how I should serve, and my Savior throughout the day.

I was riding in the backseat and looking around. Psalm 19:1: "The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork." It not amazing to me that we can see God in the world around us. Last week, as I looked at those sweet faces in VBS, I could see Him. In the flowers and birds and sky, I can see Him. As I watched my grandchild happily play in the water today, I saw Him. In the face of a young man who just lost his father, I can see His comfort. In the morning dew and the evening shadows, I see Him.

You see, I choose to see Him because I believe He is present. I believe He is everywhere. Jeremiah 23:23-24: "I am a God who is everywhere and not in one place only. No one can hide where I cannot see them," I believe in His love and I believe He is just. I look forward to Heaven for many reasons, but the first and foremost reason is that I can see Him.
